Next week, we are hosting a philosophy of education symposium featuring five invited paper workshop sessions and a public talk by Tony Laden.
Public Talk
The talk is called “The Social Costs of a College Education” and is based on his new terrific book, Networks of Trust: The Social Costs of College. Tony will present a valuable perspective about the way college affects students from a variety of social and cultural backgrounds and how we can make the college experience more inviting and valuable for the whole range of our students.
We’ve learned a lot from this book and are eager to welcome Tony to UW–Madison.
